Next Tier Entanglement

The Texans we envisioned at the end of last season have arrived. With one quarter of the season plus one game in the books. The Texans have the division in hand, a mini primetime pop off in the bag, and a solid footing in the contender conversation. The loss of Nico is going to be a blow to the offense, but I would argue they are built to absorb it.
You would have took 3-1 anyway you could get it out of the
first four games. Then get a victory over what some consider the competition
for next team in line to contend in the AFC with your b grade game. The league
is on notice last years Texans was not a fluke. The funny thing about this
seasons young success, is we haven't seen a CJ Stroud is him game and we all
know that's going to happen.
The spot in the top tier of NFL teams is theirs to keep now. Will they be able to maintain the momentum with Nico out for a month. I say without a doubt. Your 1 and 2 are still Diggs and Tank. The backup talent behind them is diverse enough to take advantage of the pressure Diggs and Tank will put on the defenses. The core group of this team is used to adversity. They experienced a lot last year and proved to be mentally built for it. We are about to experience this years iteration of it.
The primetime game gave a skee taste into what the Texans
are on this year. Like when you first bump the cup of your drink of choice. The
Bills’ win was like the first hit of your cup after that skee taste was quite
tasty. We know this drank good now. If the next three weeks go well we could
be
needing to po up another cup. This year's Texans have
themselves on the brink of elite. All of their shortcomings have been things
that they control and are fixable. Cheers to the work. Go Texans!
