Bright Lights Ready

It was an ice white night under the lights, and the Texans showed up too cool for school. Can you dig it? I know Texans fans can. It was the proper set up for this week's affair with the Vikings. Capped off with a 19-13 win in the "W" column.

Sunday night was a prime example of bend but don't break execution. The Texans offense showed their potential, but had some issues with execution, and with penalties. When it counted the most though they showed up for the team. Likewise the defense was relentless. Despite some penalties and mistakes. In key moments, when it counted the most they rose to the occasion. The most exciting thing for me coming out of the game was they showed that the moment wasn't to big for them. All Texans fans can embrace getting rid of that fear.

Primetime has not always been shine time for the Houston Texans. Now they will face an early unexpected successful Vikings team. Not to mention that Vikings team will have some very familiar faces. Faces that were key to turnaround you see in the Houston Texans. No doubt J.G. and Blake Cashman will serve as an inside source to what the Texans have going on for the Vikings this week. Will C.J. Stroud and this offense be able to just physically out ball them is the question? An intriguing Chess match on the horizon.

I think this is a workman type week for the Texans. With the early hype and lights around the team, which they expected. It will be interesting to see how they perform. Will they maintain the 1-0 every week mentality? I say workman type week in the sense of, we come out put in our work at a high level. Then execute on gameday. On paper this should be a Texans dub. Will the Texans keep showing they are who we thought they were? In the words of the great Willie D "NO MO TALK" Go Texans!
