Texans end preseason with 17-13 win over the Saints in New Orleans

The Houston Texans ended their preseason with a 17-13 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night. The win was a good way for the Texans to end the preseason and build some momentum heading into the regular season.

C.J. Stroud got the start at quarterback for the Texans and played well. He completed 4 of 6 passes for 16 yards and a touchdown. He also showed good mobility and made some nice plays outside the pocket.


The Texans' running game also looked good in the win. Mike Boone led the way with 67 yards rushing and a touchdown. Dameon Pierce added 42 yards rushing.


The Texans' defense played well in the win, holding the Saints to 13 points. The defense also forced two turnovers, a fumble and an interception. The Texans will now have to make some tough decisions about their roster. They have to cut down to 53 players by Tuesday afternoon.
