Lamar Jackson is one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the NFL, and he is entering the final year of his rookie contract. If he and the Baltimore Ravens are unable to reach an extension, he could be on the move this offseason. Here are five possible destinations for Jackson:

  1. Washington Commanders

The Commanders have a need for a franchise quarterback, and Jackson would be an upgrade over Taylor Heinicke. Jackson would also be reunited with former Ravens offensive coordinator Scott Turner.

  1. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are another team that needs a franchise quarterback, and Jackson would be a great fit in their offense. Jackson would be able to take advantage of the Colts' strong running game, and he would also be able to connect with Michael Pittman Jr. and other talented receivers.

  1. Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are in the midst of a rebuild, but they have some talented pieces on offense, including Cordarrelle Patterson and Kyle Pitts. Jackson would be able to help them take the next step and become a playoff team.

  1. New York Jets

The Jets have been searching for a franchise quarterback for years, and Jackson would be the perfect fit. Jackson would be able to take advantage of the Jets' strong running game, and he would also be able to connect with Elijah Moore and other talented receivers.

  1. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are in a similar situation to the Falcons. They have some talented pieces on offense, including Christian McCaffrey and DJ Moore. Jackson would be able to help them take the next step and become a playoff team.

These are just a few of the possible destinations for Lamar Jackson this offseason. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

In addition to the five teams listed above, there are a few other teams that could be interested in Jackson if he becomes available. These include the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are looking for a successor to Ben Roethlisberger; the Seattle Seahawks, who are in the midst of a rebuild; and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are looking to replace Tom Brady.

The Houston Texans are also on the hunt for another quarterback. Although Davis Mills is still the rookie QB1, the Texans need a franchise QB and what more of a QB to have than Lamar Jackson. This concept is just wishful thinking. I don't even think Houston is on Jackson's radar.

Jackson is a dynamic quarterback with the potential to be one of the best in the NFL. If he is traded this offseason, it will be a major coup for the team that acquires him.
