Wade Phillips announced as Head Coach for Houston's XFL team

 

On Sunday, the XFL announced its 2023 relaunch, with Houston one of eight teams taking part.

The yet-to-be-named team in Houston will be coached by former NFL coach Wade Phillips, 75.

A new co-owner has also been added to the newest version of the XFL. After the COVID-19 pandemic ended the season after five weeks, Dwayne Johnson bought the league.

We hope Houston keeps the Roughnecks team name.
