Wings end 4-Game losing streak
Tyasha Harris had a career-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers, as the Dallas Wings beat the Los Angeles Sparks 79-69 on Tuesday night, ending a four-game losing streak.
Dallas (2-4) was led by 14 points from Arike Ogunbowale. Marina Mabrey added 10 points, seven rebounds, and six assists to Moriah Jefferson's 10 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
Los Angeles was outrebounded 41-24 by Dallas. Additionally, the Wings made 10 3-pointers and 17 of 18 free throws.
A balanced scoring attack by Dallas led to a 38-28 halftime lead. Thornton led all scorers with nine points, followed by Mabrey with eight, Jefferson with eight, and Ogunbowale with eight.
