NWSL announced the full broadcast schedule for the 2021
The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced the full broadcast schedule for the 2021 season this morning, which includes three nationally televised games for the Houston Dash on CBS and CBS Sports Network
Houston will play on CBS for the first time since the 2020 Challenge Cup Final when they travel to Florida to face the Orlando Pride at Exploria Stadium in the final leg of the ‘Space Race’ series on Sunday, Sept. 5.
The Dash will play on CBS Sports Network twice in 2021 beginning with the match against Kealia Watt and the Chicago Red Stars at BBVA Stadium at 7:30p.m. on May 29. The Dash return to national television on September 1 to host OL Reign, led by U.S. Women’s National Team forward Megan Rapinoe, at BBVA Stadium at 7:30 p.m. CT.
Additionally, the final two matches of the season may air on CBS Sports Network. All matches on the final two weekends are eligible to be selected, and the network will make those decisions in the days closer to those match weekends based on standings and storylines at the time.
Paramount+ will stream 17 Dash matches this season and two games will be streamed on Twitch. International fans can watch the every Houston Dash match on Twitch.
The Dash open the regular season on the road at Red Bull Arena on May 15 against the newly rebranded NJ/NY Gotham FC, led by two-time FIFA World Cup Champion and former Dash captain Carli Lloyd. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and the match will stream live on Paramount+.
The Dash will host Lindsey Horan and Portland Thorns on Oct. 17, and then will close out the regular season against Washington Spirit on Sunday, Oct. 31 at Audi Field. Both matches may be flexed to CBS Sports Network or stream on Paramount+.
