The Isotopes sputtered to a first-inning lead, but it was short-lived. The Space Cowboys exploded in the bottom of the frame, with Trey Cabbage igniting the rally with a stolen base that led to a Pedro León double. BOOM! Jacob Melton singled, setting the stage for Cooper Hummel to unleash a monstrous three-run homer that sent the crowd into a frenzy!

The Isotopes threatened to tie it up in the second with a three-run homer, but the Space Cowboys refused to be silenced. César Salazar smashed a solo shot over the right-field wall to retake the lead, and then Grae Kessinger and León combined for a back-to-back bomb festival, launching a two-run homer that put Sugar Land up 7-4 after just two innings!

The pitching staff slammed the door shut on any Isotope comeback attempt. Nick Hernandez entered in a high-pressure situation with the bases loaded and shut it down, striking out two batters to escape the jam. The bullpen then took over, tossing four scoreless innings and striking out seven.

But wait, there's more fireworks! In the fifth, the Space Cowboys piled on the runs with walks, a fielding error, and a wild pitch, extending their lead to a commanding 11-4.

And for the cherry on top, Cooper Hummel wasn't done! He launched his second homer of the night in the eighth, driving in another run and pushing the final score to a dominant 13-4 victory for the Space Cowboys!

This win marks the 13th multi-homer game for a Sugar Land batter this season, showcasing the team's explosive offensive power. The Space Cowboys look to continue their winning ways as they embark on a six-game homestand starting Tuesday night. Don't miss the action!
