El Super Clásico Comes to Houston

Mexico's most passionate soccer rivalry, the match between Chivas de Guadalajara and Club América, will ignite NRG Stadium in Houston on October 13th. PRIMETIME Sports and the two iconic clubs announced yesterday that the historic "El Super Clásico" will be played in the Lone Star State for the first time.

This storied clash, boasting a 65-year history, has drawn massive crowds in recent years, including over 86,000 fans at the Rose Bowl and more than 60,000 in both Chicago and Los Angeles. The rivalry between América and Chivas is deeply rooted in Mexican soccer culture, with a head-to-head record of 256 matches, 96 wins for América, 79 for Chivas, and 81 draws.

Beyond the match, fans can expect a vibrant Fan Fest featuring live music, authentic cuisine, team legends, and family-friendly entertainment.
