Three Dash Players Named to Canadian National Team

Houston Dash defenders Lindsay Agnew and Allysha Chapman, along with midfielder Sophie Schmidt, were named to the Canadian Women’s National Team for a friendly against Japan, the Canadian Soccer Association announced earlier today.  

Canada returns to international action after winning bronze at the 2019 Algarve Cup in Portugal and advancing to the Round of 16 in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. All three Dash players were members of Canada’s World Cup squad earlier this summer. Canada will travel to Asia to face the Japan Women’s National Team on Oct. 6 as both teams begin their campaigns towards the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. READ FULL ARTICLE HERE
