Johnson still a hometown favorite

The Houston Texans had their first Saturday training camp open to the public. As usual, the fans went crazy as the players stepped out on the field. The member of the team that sent Texans fan over the edge was, Andre Johnson. The fans chanted "Andre, Andre" as he stepped out on the field as a member of the coaching staff. 

Johnson,  played his career as a Texan until he was traded to the Colts and Titans, then picked back up by the Texans on a one day contract so he could retire from Houston.

Today on the practice field, Andre basically was passing the torch to the new receivers who will play his old position.  If you were a new receiver to the Texans and having Johnson as a mentor/offensive receiving coach is a jewel.  Let's hope  DHop, Fuller and the rookies will soak up some valuable knowledge.
