Commanders Defeat Irons

The San Antonio Commanders add an away win under their belt as they defeat the Birmingham Irons, 12-11. Seems to be a lot of missed opportunities and mis reads of plays. In the first, the Commanders tallied a total of 21 plays to ONLY rally in 3pts. San Antonio has to figure out how to cut down on the field time. They need to score and score quick. The more time on the field means, the more risk of fatigue for the offense and defense.
Running back Kenneth Farrow II is on pace to hit that yardage mark form the ground attack ground. Farrow rushed for 52 yards in the first half. He set a new AAF record by rushing for 142 yards on 30 carries. With a fumble recovery and a redbone interception, the Commanders held up against the Irons to take the win.
Next up the San Antonio marches to Arizona to #CommandTheField and take on the Hotshots. They both hold a 2-2 record. This should be an evenly matched game.
